A Summary of Our Winter Dining at Hog Roast Southwater

It felt like it lasted forever (and honestly we are still not entirely convinced it is actually over), but that is winter finally done and dusted. And let us tell you, what a winter it was here at Hog Roast Southwater. Firing straight from the hectic Christmas period into the new year where the events did not slow down, announcing our biggest ever giveaway competition winner, taking on even more deals for our customers than ever before, and catering for your Valentines, your six Nations, your return-to-work events – it has been a hot winter that we sled our way right on through!

Now, as we head into the spring officially, we ought to take a quick moment just to highlight some of the hottest events that we catered for on this cold and long winter at Hog Roast Southwater!

First of all, we once again cannot thank our customers enough for choosing Hog Roast Southwater for your Christmas events and staff parties. It can sometimes get lost in the business of the Christmas period, but it is always such a privilege to have the issue of being almost too busy at Christmas. The staff night out at Christmas is such an important occasion, so it is always very gratifying to see so many put their trust in Hog Roast Southwater to cater for their Christmas feast. Christmas in 2024 was yet another blast of festive events; we rarely had time to slow down, which is exactly how we like it here at Hog Roast Southwater!

Even coming into the new year, we had such an overspill of festive events that we still had plenty of catering to be done in January. The beginning of the year can sometimes be a slower period for all industries, particularly in hospitality. Everyone has had their fill of dining out and events, spent all their money, so you can get a slower time, but that did not end up being the case at Hog Roast Southwater!Hog Roasts Southwater

Continuing on into February, we then felt the love as you chose us for your Valentines catering. Between serving up old couples and new, and even catering for Galentine friend groups, it was a great mid-February at Hog Roast Southwater!

Then came the Rugby Six Nations which we are still enjoying every 2 weeks as we get an influx of watch events to cater for. It’s nearly done now, but we’re still here catering with every try as we head into spring!
