On Wednesday, we had the pleasure of catering a university welcome fair organised by the Students’ Union (SU) reps. This event was designed to give newbies a warm welcome, complete with support services, societies, and plenty of opportunities to explore what university life has to offer. It was the perfect setting for students to mingle, learn, and get a taste of the community spirit that makes university life so special.
As students wandered around the fair, discovering free tote bags filled with stationery, chocolates, and other goodies, they were also treated to a feast of Hog Roast Arundal’s finest. Our hog roast rolls were a hit, providing a hearty and satisfying meal that helped to ease their nerves.
The tender pork, crispy crackling, flavourful stuffing, and tangy applesauce were a real treat for the senses. It was amazing to see students, who had only just met, bonding over delicious food and engaging in lively conversations.
And as always, Hog Roast Arundal didn’t just cater for the carnivores! We made sure everyone felt included with our BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls. These tasty alternatives were met with enthusiastic approval and ensured that every guest had a satisfying and enjoyable meal.
