Hog Roast Cowfold’s Food Festival Adventures!

Hog Roast CowfoldWest Sussex is quickly becoming one of the UK’s hottest foodie destinations, and it’s easy to see why! With its rolling countryside brimming with fresh produce and a calendar packed with delicious events, this region is a dream come true for food lovers.

Over the past year, West Sussex has hosted everything from cheesy cider shindigs to spicy Caribbean street food fiestas, and last week’s food festival was a shining example of why this area is the place to be!

This festival was a paradise for the taste buds, with stalls overflowing with gourmet delights. Chocolatiers tempted festival-goers with their artisan treats, while burger builders served up towering stacks of juicy beef, fresh tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and melty cheese. Craft bakers showcased a stunning selection of breads, cakes, and pastries, each more beautiful than the last.

But as scrumptious as these options were, one stall stood out as the undeniable star of the show—Hog Roast Cowfold! Yes, that’s us! Not to toot our own horn (okay, maybe just a little), but we’re kind of a big deal at these events. Our expert caterers are unrivalled when it comes to hog roasting, and our reputation for delivering delicious results is well-earned.

At this event, Hog Roast Cowfold kept things classic with our signature hog roast sandwiches, and they did not disappoint. Our hog, slow-cooked on a rotisserie until perfectly golden, was juicy, tender, and bursting with flavour. The meat was as soft as butter, while the crackling, crispy and rich, added just the right amount of crunch. We served the delicious meat on freshly baked rolls, topped with homemade sage and onion stuffing and a spoonful of tart apple sauce, creating a combination that was simply irresistible.

Festival-goers couldn’t get enough, with lines snaking around our stall all day long. Hog Roast Cowfold had visitors coming back for seconds—and thirds—of our irresistible hog roast sandwiches. By the time the festival wrapped up, we were completely out of hog roast, leaving many satisfied (and some disappointed) fans.

West Sussex’s food scene is on fire, and we’re stoked to be a part of it. We can’t wait to serve up more of our famous hog roast sandwiches at the next festival— maybe we’ll see you there!
