Soaring Temperatures at Hog Roast Burgess Hill Events This Week!

Hog Roast Burgess HillAt Hog Roast Burgess Hill, we’re usually well used to a bit of heat in the kitchen – even our mobile hog roasters give off plenty of heat as they roast away – but even we were caught of guard with the sudden ramp up in temperature at our events this week. Not that you’ll find us complaining! We love nothing more than being able to cater outdoors on a bright and sunny summer’s day, so we made sure to make full use of the brilliant summer weather at our events this week.

With a couple of schedule events on Thursday, our Hog Roast Burgess Hill team were able to alter around some plans for our customers so that we could make full use of the weather and their venues where possible. We’d grown so used to the dreary rain and blustery winds that seemed to be going on forever that we, like everyone else, couldn’t wait to jump at the chance to get out in the sun, top up that tan, and enjoy some delicious summer foods with the appropriate weather. A wedding of ours that was scheduled for this week was able to make full use of their venues beautiful gardens where our Hog Roast Burgess Hill team made quick work in setting up a marquee serving tent to keep our foods out of the sun. Here we had the canapes that were meant for the indoor reception rotating around the gardens on excellent wood platters, and then we could also set up a grazing table under our tent too for guests to enjoy fresh summer foods to help keep nice and cool.

Similarly, a corporate event of ours this week was able to take their scheduled business lunch out of the office. We switched our menu at the last minute when it was clear the weather was going to play along and brought our corporate client a brilliant barbecue to enjoy out in their office car park. Employees made full use of the summery experience to enjoy their extra-long sanctioned lunch break.

We hope this is summer here to stay at Hog Roast Burgess Hill, because we have way more plans for the weather and our dining to come!
