Comic Relief, a.k.a. Red Nose Day is one of the UK’s biggest fundraising drives, which is held annually and sees the whole country come together to raise money and awareness for impoverished and disadvantaged people all over the world. Last year, in 2022, the British public managed to raise a whopping £42.8 million for the cause and with donations already flooding in this year, many are hoping for another smashing result!
Thousands are gearing up to take part in the event, and among them is our client Gary. As a successful business owner, Gary has made it his mission to give back as and when he can, and with Comic Relief just around the corner, he’s found the perfect opportunity to help others.
In the lead-up to the 17th of March, he’s planned a company open day, which staff and locals alike will be sure to enjoy! He’s gone all out on the event so far by hiring a professional face painter, a balloon artist, a bouncy castle and even a band to perform live music! Gary’s only request is that everyone who attends wears something red, donates what they can to the cause and has a great time.
Of course, you can’t have an event without food, now can you? Knowing just as well as anyone that food is the key to keeping people happy at any event, Gary has hired Hog Roast Walberton’s exceptional catering staff to help him keep his guests in high spirits – and we won’t let him down!
